Online Learning Activities

Students visualise consequences, think laterally, recognise opportunity and potential and are prepared to test options.

Carefully designed units of work based on using the Internet enable teachers to provide learning experiences that to help their students develop higher-order thinking skills.

A number of excellent models are available for teachers to use.
These projects, models or 'activity formats' encourage students to select, analyse, organise and use information to provide creative answers or solutions to set questions or situations, not merely gather information. They also aim to provide an easy access to Internet research for students and teachers.

Students may meet a number of the process-oriented Overarching Learning Outcomes (
1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12) and, depending on choice of content, may also achieve aspects of all other Overarching Learning Outcomes, as well as many specific Learning Area Outcomes.
