Effective use
of graphics can enhance student presentations
in all types of formats including
PowerPoint, electronic documents
or webpages.
If students are downloading graphics
from the Internet rather than creating
their own, copyright is an important
factor to consider.
In this section you will find information
about copyright of graphics and images,
websites designed to help students
create their own graphics, libraries
and compilations of free (public domain)
graphics, search engines and directories
that give information about, or direct
access to, graphics as well as subscription
sites and information about graphics
software.
These teacher resources cover many aspects
of copyright including asking for permission and acknowledging
the source of graphics or text.
